Ian Gilmour

 

 

Ian is a member of Chartis' Advisory Board with specific focus on credit risk management and risk architecture.

Ian trained as an Economist, graduating in 1990. He has worked in international markets since 1990 and has worked in some of the most sophisticated financial organisations in the world, including HSBC and Deutsche Bank. He left his career as a banker in 2000 to develop his own consulting business, Pelican Consulting. He comes to the consulting business as a practitioner with a definite focus on fulfilling business goals for clients.

Ian has developed core competencies in credit risk, market risk and liquidity risk. He also has worked on detailed assignments in the FX, commodities and credit derivatives markets.
