Nigel Woodward

Nigel is a member of Chartis' Advisory Team with a focus on go-to-market strategy and commercial activities.

Nigel began his career in financial services in 1979 in the International Division of Midland Bank working in correspondent banking, corporate and trade finance.

In the mid 1980's he moved from banking to the IT industry aligning technology innovation with the market's business drivers. Nigel has worked in senior market facing roles for a number of the major technology corporations which have shaped the industry as we know it today - including GE, DEC, Reuters, Informix, SUN Microsystems where he was worldwide lead for Capital Markets and most recently Intel Corporation where he was led the strategic direction of Intel in the FSI market place.

Nigel has gained a worldwide reputation for applying the technology market to the financial industry's market structure. This includes the identification of partnering synergies and identifying the enabling and disruptive forces of technology on business processes.
