Sivaramakrishnan V CFA
Sivaramakrishnan is a CFA charter-holder and a member of the CFA Institute. He also holds an MBA with specialisation in finance from ICFAI, India. He has many years of experience in conducting and overseeing research in multiple asset classes including equities, commodities and currencies. Prior to this, he was head of research at KB Research, a Dubai-based financial services and research company where he managed a team of 20 analysts conducting fundamental research in equities and commodities. He was also involved in advising and devising hedging and investment strategies for many corporate houses based in Middle-East. He had worked for Karvy, one of the largest financial broking houses in India where he was responsible for setting up research facilities and building a research team. Earlier in his career, he had worked as a research analyst specialising in commodities and derivatives.
He is well-versed in valuation and macro research. He is proficient in VB, SQL and statistical software packages. Besides financial research, he is also actively involved in writing articles and case-studies for magazines focussed on contemporary economics and management.
