1. The Agreement
These terms and conditions ("Agreement") apply to your purchase of research documents and/or related products and/or services and support sold by Chartis. By accepting delivery of the Product, you accept and are bound to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not wish to be bound by this Agreement, you must notify Chartis immediately and return your purchase pursuant to Chartis' Quality Guarantee.
2. Accuracy of Information
The information contained in the products has been obtained from sources believed to be reliable. Chartis disclaims all warranties as to the accuracy, completeness or adequacy of such information. The reader assumes sole responsibility for the selection of the Products to achieve its intended results. The opinions expressed in the Products are subject to change without notice.
3. Payment Terms, Orders and Quotes
Payment terms are within Chartis’s sole discretion, and, unless otherwise agreed to by Chartis, payment must be made at the time of purchase. Payment for Product may be made by credit card, bank transfer, or some other prearranged payment method. Chartis may invoice parts of an order separately. Your order is subject to cancellation by Chartis, at Chartis's sole discretion. Unless you and Chartis have agreed to a different discount, Chartis’s standard pricing policy applies to all Products.
4. Quality Guarantee
If you are not entirely satisfied with the quality of the Product you may return it to Chartis in its original condition. Returns must be made within 14 days of receiving the Product. You must contact us directly before you attempt to return Product to obtain a Return Authorisation Number for you to include with your return. You must return Products to us in their original or equivalent packaging. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price upon Chartis receiving the returned Product.
5. Limitation of Liability
CHARTIS DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY LIABILITY FOR PRODUCT NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR FOR LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA OR SOFTWARE, OR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES AND SUPPORT. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, CHARTIS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY. YOU AGREE THAT FOR ANY LIABILITY RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCT, CHARTIS IS NOT LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF DAMAGES ABOVE THE AMOUNT INVOICED FOR THE APPLICABLE PRODUCT. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING IN THIS AGREEMENT TO THE CONTRARY, THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS AGREEMENT SHALL APPLY EVEN IF SUCH REMEDIES FAIL THEIR ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
6. Applicable Law; Not For Resale
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulation. You agree and represent that you are buying only for your own internal use only and not for resale.
