This is the fourth edition of Chartis' RiskTech100TM report. The RiskTech100TM is now recognized globally as the most comprehensive and prestigious study of the top technology firms active in the risk management market.

This year's study incorporates further development of our ranking methodology with the introduction of the new scoring sub-category of "Momentum". This sub-category focuses specifically on the success of risk technology firms within the last 12 months, including new product releases, significant contract wins and financial performance.

The technology firms in this report range from "Tier 1" enterprise software powerhouses to specialised boutiques. The common factor is that they all sell licensable software products within the financial services and corporate sectors, and all are recognized as being among the best in their chosen sector or risk class. Many of these firms supplement pure software revenues with implementation and professional services.
