Spotlight on GRC+ : The Chartis view of GRC

This report summarizes Chartis' revised approach to GRC, ‘GRC+’ : a comprehensive view that reflects the subject's maturation into a more complex and fully integrated discipline.

Over the past few years, governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) has evolved into an important discipline in its own right, as the rapid rise of digitalization and a heightened regulatory environment require financial firms to implement more complex and comprehensive GRC frameworks.

Because of these developments, Chartis has revised its approach to GRC research and developed ‘GRC+’, a more comprehensive view of GRC that reflects its maturation into a more complex and fully integrated discipline. This report summarizes this new approach and what it means for our future research.
